Reminder: The American Music Festival Dates are May 31 through June 4, 2017

Dear Patron,

On behalf of the Albany Symphony, thank you for purchasing tickets to this season's American Music Festival.  Due to a change in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institutes academic calendar and the date of their commencement, the date of this year's festival underwent a slight change this past September -- one which we would like to reiterate today.

Unfortunately, some subscriber tickets for both the Dogs of Desire performance and the American Music Festival Concert were printed prior to the change in date and as a result, both reflect the incorrect dates of May 19th and May 20th, respectively. This has, understandably, been a point of confusion amongst patrons.

To clarify and confirm, as a result of this year's change in date, the 2017 American Music Festival will run from Wednesday, May 31st through Sunday, June 4th. That means the Dogs of Desire performance will be Friday, June 2nd and the American Music Festival Concert will be Saturday, June 3rdThe time of these performances remains unchanged and both will begin at 7:30 PM

** All subscriber tickets printed with the ORIGINAL dates are still valid for both performances and may be presented at the door without issue. **

Further information regarding the festival can be found on the official Albany Symphony website at this link: http://www.albanysymphony.com/americanmusicfestival

Again, on behalf of the Albany Symphony, we apologize for this inconvenience and hope that you will join us in ensuring that this year's American Music Festival is one to remember.

Thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and patronage. As always, we look forward to seeing you at the Symphony!

All the Best,

Albany Symphony Management
