Veterans Day
In honor of Veterans Day, we highlight the West Point Band. Our neighbor down the Hudson River, the Band has a 200-plus year history and attracts top-flight musicians from around the country. Several West Point musicians also perform with the Albany Symphony, notably Sergeant First Class Phillip Helm, our assistant principal bassist, who serves as bass player in the West Point Concert Band and chamber ensembles.
