WAMC Tyson Davis Interview
Being just 20 years young, Tyson Davis is pushing the bounds of classical music, in more ways than one. Here he talks about the racial disparity that exists in classical music and his experience with such. Davis also further explains his work, Distances, just premiered at our Romantic Brahms concert. Check out this review of our most recent concert! NYS Music had high praise for the Albany Symphony following this weekend's concert. Albany High School Concert Talks
This season, Albany Symphony has partnered with Albany High School to provide concert talks to students. Young people in the music program view the concert in class and get a unique view behind-the-scenes and inside the artists' creative minds. This month, David Alan Miller and Tyson Davis tackled thought-provoking questions about race and the orchestra world. Special thanks to AHS Choral Director Brendan Hoffman and his students!
