IT CAME FROM TECH VALLEY! THE MUSICAL SOUNDS OF THE CAPITAL REGION.

When Upstate New Yorkers hear the name "Tech Valley", we immediately think GE, Global Foundries, Colleges of Nansocale Science and Engineering, RPI or even Evocative Biomaterials.

From wind turbines to semi-conductors and packing materials made from mushrooms, the Capital Region is an incubator for high tech companies looking to change the world.

So, what does this have to do with the Albany Symphony?

The Albany Symphony, like our neighbors in the Tech industry, is breaking barriers and reshaping the future by serving as a unique incubator for American orchestral music.  For more than three decades, the Albany Symphony has focused on creating, recording, and disseminating  the music of our time.

Tech Valley is the home of musical innovation.

Under the baton of David Alan Miller, the Albany Symphony has garnered national acclaim as a world-class orchestra.  Defined by its commitment to presenting new and innovative works, the Albany Symphony has become a laboratory for today's best composers with over 24 Albums that were recorded in the Capital Region.
