Sunday Symphony:
Beethoven Back to the Future!
Let your imagination take over at the Albany Symphony. Are you a composer? singer? listener? or maybe a world-famous slide whistler? Uncover the secrets of making music that everyone will love with the Albany Symphony and Ludwig van Beethoven!
Propelled over 200 years into the future by a time machine, Beethoven bursts into the 21st century just before the reveal of his biggest symphony ever!
Help Beethoven prepare the Albany Symphony for the premiere of his “Choral Symphony.” Sing along to some of Beethoven’s most famous symphonies, while he reveals the hidden secrets of composing. Then, make your symphony debut at the “world premiere” of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. The program includes excerpts from Symphonies 5, 7, and 9; Fidelio and Leonore Overtures.
