Building on the success of last year’s “Movie Music Play-In,” the Albany Symphony and the Empire State Youth Orchestra (ESYO) are thrilled to present an exciting afternoon of collaborative music-making, generously supported by the Innovation Partnership. This special event, designed to engage and entertain audiences of all ages, will take place at the MVP Arena on October 14 at 3:00pm. 

Check in for participants (and parents/guardians): 10 AM

Doors open to Public: 2:00 PM

Concert: 3:00 PM

EVERYONE is invited to play during this concert!

For Participating Players:

All participants enter through the front doors on South Pearl Street. Free parking will be available in the garage behind the Arena, and, as it is a holiday, street parking in Downtown Albany will be free as well.

10:00 AM Rehearsal check-in begins for participating players

11:00 AM - 1:30 PM Rehearsal with the orchestras and registered student participants and student families

1:30 PM - 2:45 PM Lunch Break and Community Activity Fair (Concourse)

2:00 PM Doors open to public

There will be concessions available on the Arena Concourse during the Activity Fair lunch break.
