American master, David Del Tredici and GRAMMY®-winning soprano Hila Plitmann return to the Albany Symphony to perform Pop-pourri, the first of Del Tredici’s famous works inspired by the literary classic “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” Composer, John Corigliano returns to the American Music Festival for the first time since winning Best Classical Instrumental Solo with David Alan Miller in 2013 and the Dogs of Desire premieres Sing Out, New York!, a collection of new works inspired by Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth, Frederick Douglas, and the 1969 Stonewall uprising.
Plus performances by composer/performer Molly Joyce, the Argus String Quartet, Angélica Negrón, the musicians of the Albany Symphony, and a four-concert tour of FREE performances!
