Hudson Crossing Park

The second weekend of the Trailblaze NY festival takes place in the historic village of Schuylerville, at the beautiful Hudson Crossing Park. Daytime health and wellness activities will take place on and around the trail, culminating with a free outdoor Albany Symphony performance!

All day - outdoor activities

5:00pm - Music, food from local vendors, funzone & family fun

6:00pm - Opening Act: Wa Lika Band

7:30pm - Albany Symphony Performance featuring sandbox percussion

Daytime Events & Activities at Hudson Crossing Park

  • All Day - Plein Air Painting in the park, explore the Champlain Canal and Hudson River with Upstate Kayak Rentals, and learn about the NYS Mesonet Station

  • 7:00am - Bird Walk facilitated by Grassland Bird Trust (pre-registration required, click here to reserve your spot for this free event)

  • 9:00am-5:00pm - Visit the Saratoga Battlefield and learn about the history of the American Revolution at Saratoga National Historical Park

  • 9:30am - Bike safety class with Capital Streets

  • 10:00am - Guided bike ride with Capital Streets

  • 11:00am - Learn about the history of the Old Champlain Canal on a 2.5 mile walking tour

  • 11:00am-4:00pm - Tours & boat rides with Mohawk Maiden Cruises

  • 1:00-4:00pm - Tour the historic Philip Schuyler House (guided tours are available at 10am, 10:30am, 11am, and 11:30 am, no registration required)

  • 1:00pm - Ukulele meetup with Rural Soul

  • 1:30-5:00pm - Experience Kambal Yoga with Jamie Lemnotis

  • 2:00pm - Explore the history of the American Revolution with a guided 2.5 mile walking tour along the Champlain Canal

  • 3:00pm - Support local artists by perusing the Lake George Arts Project’s art sale

  • 3:00pm - Tour The Marshall House and hear the firsthand account of the Baroness who survived a week-long bombardment during the Revolutionary War

  • 5:00pm - Drumming circle with Rural Soul

  • 5:00pm - Food and drinks available from local vendors

  • 5:00pm - Free FunZone activities for kids and families

  • 6:00pm - Opening Act: Wa Lika Band

  • 7:30pm - Albany Symphony Performance
