ALBANY SYMPHONY DIGITAL CHANNEL

— From music education classes for young ones (and those young at heart), interviews with brilliant American composers, rebroadcasts of your favorite performances, Live Q&A with music director David Alan Miller, to messages from Beethoven himself —

The Albany Symphony is committed to bringing you the music and culture of the Capital Region and beyond, even if it has to be virtual for the time being. We look forward to the day when we can gather in our favorite venues again, but until then stay safe, stay healthy, and stay creative!

FIRE UP THAT GRILL!

The Albany Symphony’s Dogs of Desire is excited to announce Hot, w/Mustard, a series of 10 brand new works by some of America’s best composers.

New videos will be released every Sunday starting August 2 at 6PM.

Our first video will feature Alexis Lamb’s “Looking Through,” initially inspired by a quote from Henry David Thoreau’s Walden: “Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other’s eyes for an instant?”

Make sure to tune in to be one of the first to experience this world premiere, plus an exclusive interview with the composer and a delicious recipe for you to fire up on the grill!
