With New York State’s COVID-19 mandate restricting group gatherings and its ongoing concern for the health and safety of our audience members, performers, and community at large, the Albany Symphony is postponing its April 18 concert to September 12 and 13, 2020.
Originally scheduled at the Palace Theatre, the concert will be performed in September at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall with a revised program:
CHRISTOPHER ROUSE: Heimdall’s Trumpet
STEVEN STUCKY: Radical Light
BEETHOVEN: Symphony No. 3, “Eroica”
The concert will start the Albany Symphony’s celebration of the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven.
Ticketholders for the April 18 concert will receive replacement tickets to the September concert.
Those who have any questions about tickets to any Albany Symphony events should contact the Symphony by email (patronservices@albanysymphony.com) or by calling the Box Office (518-694-3300).
